Hamilton-Wenham COA Van Service

The Hamilton-Wenham Van service is available for transportation, four days a week, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for all Hamilton and Wenham senior citizens (age 60+) as well as handicap residents of all ages.

Regular service is provided to the following locations:

Banks, barbers, hairdressers, churches, COA centers, doctors, Hunt Hospital, Beverly Hospital Campus, dentist, Gordon College Bennett Center, Lamson Hall, Enon Village (meal service), library, post office, railroad stations, recreation and community centers, stores, restaurants, town hall, voting centers and visits with friends.  (All programs are subject to change).    Transportation to medical appointments and meal service to Lamson Hall and Enon Village is a priority.  There is no fee for the van service however, a nominal donation per trip will be appreciated.

RESERVATIONS may be made by calling the COA Van Office at 978-468-5534 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm - if possible - 24 hours in advance.  You are welcomed to call last minute; however, we may not be able to accommodate your request.  If you call when the office is not open, please leave a message with your name and telephone number; someone will return the call as soon as possible.

Drivers – While there is a Senior Van Service, there are times when drivers are needed to take people to hospital and doctor offices beyond the times served by the Van Service.  If you are interested in volunteering to drive local seniors with your personal car, please call the Van office at 978-468-5534.
